From the sidewalk behind the stage during Summer Nights on Aug. 11, a rich bass voice rings out over the din of the crowd. A unique energy has infused the swaggering blues filling the streets of downtown Rapid City, and once in front of the stage, it becomes obvious why.
Music is such a great thing because unlike everything else, it utilizes both sides of your brain at once," Max paused for a moment like an older professional considering the words for a spontaneous lecture and continues. "You have to use the left side of your brain to read and comprehend it and you use the right side of your brain to actually play the music.
Max is in Europe until late May.
He will be back in the Hills this summer before leaving for Minneapolis.
